My husband and I are grateful to have had Pat Walden as part of our wedding; not only did Pat come through for us when we were in a pinch, but she also provided the final pieces of our wedding puzzle by providing enthusiastic and unconditional support for our union.

Our choice was to have a non-denominational service that I prepared with a variety of readings that were personal to both Ethan and me as individuals and as a couple. This personalized service was integral to the overall 'feel' of our wedding because it was small, earthy, and spiritual more than religious. We were thankful to be referenced to Pat, who not only never questioned our choices, but championed them.

Ethan and I met Pat for coffee along the beach road one morning; our first impression of her was that she was willing, kind, and open-minded. She asked about us, took time to come to know us, and made every effort to learn us so that - in the end - she not only officiated our ceremony, but she understood it. I could tell by her reading of the words that we provided that she really believed them as well and that she believed in us. That spirit was what we wanted to 'seal the mark' of our commitment.

We received the ceremony booklet last week and it reminded me that I didn't really say THANK YOU! You were so calm and collected as Steve and I rushed you through the ceremony, because of the stormy weather! You were great! And, the ceremony was so perfect!

She does a beautiful job and we had a lot of complements about the service. It's very nice to have an officiant that understands this is your day and she encourages you to add your own unique touches to the ceremony. She also charges a fair price for the area and she went above and beyond for us just because she wanted to! I highly recommend her.

Pat Walden officiated several weddings for Beach Ball Events last season and I worked with her specifically on one wedding. She comes with my highest reference. She attended to all of the details including ensuring the marriage license was signed as well as providing the couple with a beautiful folder which contained a copy of the ceremony that Pat performed.
